for educational topics. A few places to start are:
Charter Schools
In 1991 Minnesota passed legislation creating our first charter school.
We now has over 75 charter schools. Although, funded by the state, charter
schools are exempt from many state and local
regulations. Charter schools function under a "charter" or contract with the
local school board or the state:
